ANNOUNCING BREAKOUT WEST: HOME EDITION
BreakOut West is moving online for 2020! This year, the annual festival and conference was set to take place in Winnipeg, MB from September 30 to October 4. In response to the ongoing circumstances surrounding COVID-19, BOW 2020 will be making the shift to a virtual event, bringing attendees a 15-day immersive online experience that provides artists and industry the opportunity to expand their careers through informative keynotes and panel discussions, mentorship meetings, networking mixers, wellness moments and new music discovery.
BreakOut West: Home Edition will kick off on September 25 with the Western Canadian Music Awards, the winners of the artistic and industry categories will be revealed during a special livestreamed event.
Passes for BreakOut West: Home Edition will be available for $50 each, with discounts for members of the Western Canadian Music Industry Associations, SOCAN, CIMA and CLMA members. Follow BOW’s socials and check for updates here for updates on registration.

TALENT ACCELERATOR APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN
Attn: emerging musicians, composers, and aspiring music supervisors. Applications for the #VIFFAMP Talent Accelerator are now open! The professional development program is dedicated to providing free, low-barrier access to the VIFF AMP music in film summit, plus exclusive mentorship and networking sessions for creators from underrepresented communities who are looking to explore or expand their career into music and film.

Whether you present one festival annually or events throughout the year, presenters, large and small, from all parts of the province, are eligible to apply for SoundON support.
