They killed it at The Legion on a sold out night just before the coronavirus took hold. Now Summer Kicks is very pleased to have them rolling through town this coming Wednesday July 8. Buddy Wackett and The Floorwalkers play the honkiest of tonk for sinners and saints alike. ⁣⁣

Little is known about Buddy Wackett & the Floorwalkers. It’s hard to get a straight answer out of the group as to where they are from exactly, but it is rumoured that they live together in a run down cabin deep in the backwoods of Parson BC. With only a wood stove to cook food and a small generator to practice on their instruments. The band consists of four members; Buddy Wackett on the pedal steel guitar and lead vocals, Travis Ryan Stone on acoustic guitar and vocals, Rick Dutch on electric guitar and vocals, and Gary Dreams on the bass.

Well OK … now you know what to expect … sort of … just come and see for yourself!

Check out the route map here! We have three planned stops of about 20-30 minutes long. First we drive from the Fire Hall up 9 St. S., down 10 St. S to the green space around Lady Grey. Then we make our way to Kinsmen (Clown) Park for a good stop. Our last planned stop is by the Dog Park.

Best to follow us around on your bikes but, if you want to set up camp, put your bubble in one of the crop circles in those green spaces and you’ll have fun.

You will also be able to track the Summer Kicks truck live here: https://glympse.com/!summerkicks and know where we’re at when we’re headed your way. Gather your family bubble on your lawn and whistle us down for a song!

We’ll be accompanied again by a flotilla of Golden Fire Department trucks.

You’ll probably hear us through the air around town but, if you need to stay home. we’ll be going live on Facebook at our Kicking Horse Culture Page so you don’t miss a song.

So …spread the word and let’s have some fun!
