Based on the beloved book by Roald Dahl, James and the Giant Peach tells the story of a young orphaned child who finds a loving family in a most peculiar way. Directed by Adriana Bogaard, with musical director Malaika Horswill and choreographer Mackenzie Hope, the show is performed by 21 local youth from the Capitol’s Summer Youth Theatre Program.

Capitol Theatre 2019-2020 Season

The 2019-20 Capitol Theatre Season is on sale! There is an incredible array of high quality live performances coming to the stage this year, including dance, theatre, music and high-end fringe theatre.
Here’s how you can catch some shows and save some money!

Pre-booking the full season of all 11 Capitol shows gets you 20% off the regular ticket price. That’s a savings of $64 for a total cost of $257! These shows take place from October 2019 through March 2020.

Buying a half season of at least six shows nets you a 15% discount. The total amount depends on what you choose ie. Mind of a Snail’s Caws & Effect ticket price is less than Vancouver Arts Club’s Bed & Breakfast or Volcano Theatre’s Infinity.

And finally, you also have the option of a pre-packaged bundle, for a 10% discount:
