Canadian Firearms Safety: Restricted Firearms  This course is required to obtain your Restricted Possession and Acquisition Licence (RPAL).  Pre-requisite:  Non-Restricted Firearms Licence.

Childcare Emergency First Aid  Learn what to do when a child needs urgent medical attention. You’ll get an overview of first aid and CPR techniques in an interactive learning environment, while learning many skills needed to recognize and respond to a variety of medical emergencies for children and babies.

Emergency First Aid with CPR C  An overview of first aid and CPR C for the home or workplace.  Practice skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies for adults.

Occupational First Aid Level 1  Our most popular workplace first aid course.  Learn CPR/AED, how to deal with minor wounds, airway breathing, circulatory emergencies and more.

Standard First Aid with CPR C  Comprehensive first aid and CPR techniques for emergency response in the home or workplace. Practice a variety of topics from cardiovascular and breathing emergencies prevention of disease transmission to more severe sudden medical injuries to the head and spine.

Nakusp & Kaslo Centres

Intro to GPS: Units, Compasses and Maps for Backcountry Adventures In this basic course, students will practice with Selkirk College’s Garmin 62s units to gain familiarity using GPS devices with compasses and maps.  Participants will learn hands-on skills to bring with their next backcountry adventure!
