Community Engagement Coach – Multiple Positions
Remotely based in Interior and Northern B.C. Locations

The First Peoples’ Cultural Council is looking for 2 -3 capable community engagement leaders to join our team to support the success of language revitalization programs in First Nation communities in B.C. This position is a one-year term position with potential for renewal based on funding and needs.

The Community Engagement Coach provides expertise to support the success of language revitalization efforts in B.C. First Nations communities. The Coach is responsible for developing and implementing a community outreach and engagement strategy focused on language planning and language revitalization.

The Coach works closely with the FPCC Language Department and with First Nations to contribute to effective programming and provide the community support needed to ensure that the FPCC meets its mandate with respect to the revitalization of the First Nations languages of B.C.

IT Technical Support / Help Desk Analyst 

We are looking for a capable IT Technical Support / Help Desk Analyst to join our growing team in supporting the success of FPCC programs in B.C.

The IT Technical Support / Help Desk Analyst is responsible for providing technical support in the configuration, installation, maintenance and utilization of systems software, hardware, network and storage platforms, and FPCC applications and servers, including providing Tier 1 & 2 problem resolution for FPCC users, customers and vendors.

The Technical Support / Help Desk Analyst is responsible for operating and controlling installed information systems, and sets up, submits and verifies all work for internal and external clients. The position assists in the maintenance and day-to-day operation of the security and data backup system. The position receives technical direction and support from the Information Technology Manager.
