World of Puppets’ “Peter and the Wolf”

Date & Time: March 9 at 2 pm

In this beautiful telling of “Peter and the Wolf” by World of Puppets, each character is portrayed by an amazing cast of intricate marionettes carved of wood, as well as other styles of puppets.

The music leads the show in this piece, that was created by Russian composer Sergei Prokofiev in 1936 to help young people get to know the instruments in a symphony orchestra.

The show is the creation of Bernd Ogrodnik, former Master Puppeteer for Iceland’s National Theater and founder and Artistic Director of the Icelandic Center for Puppetry Arts.

45 minute performance with the opportunity to go onstage after the show and meet the puppets up close!

Tickets are $15.

Performances suitable for ages 5-10.
