Mass Culture Digital Gathering: recording available + new discussion announced

Hello and thank you for your interest in Mass Culture and in the very first Digital Gathering that we convened on Friday February 1st .

We are planning the next Digital Gathering on the topic of Cultural Development in Rural & Remote Areas on Friday March 1st, 1.30pm EST. You can register for free here either to the live discussion or to the recording notification list.

I’m also delighted to share that the recording of the first Digital Gathering, featuring Pat Tobin, Sanjay Shahani and Branislav Henselmann, is now available on the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s Knowledge Centre. The discussion continues there, currently with contributions from West Vancouver (BC) and the Town of Canmore (AB). We would love to hear from you too and build a learning community on the topic of Cultural Planning. On the Knowledge Centre, you can comment on the Digital Gathering, share your own cultural planning processes and documents, discuss with peers how you shape your guiding principles and how you keep them alive in practice… Bridget MacIntosh will be animating the forum and is looking forward to your participation.

I would also be grateful if you could take a moment to fill in our post-gathering survey, where you can indicate which topic you’d like to see tackled and how you would like to participate.

And finally, if you want to be informed of future Mass Culture Gatherings, podcasts and other initiatives, you can sign up here to the network newsletter.

Please get in touch if you have any questions, comments, suggestions – I’d love to hear from you!

Best wishes,

Fanny Martin
