Rossland Council for Arts and Culture Turns 20!

Event Dates: October 12-14, 2018
Location: Miners’ Union Hall

This October RCAC is celebrating their 20th Anniversary. To celebrate 20 years of supporting arts and culture in Rossland the RCAC has events running all weekend! Join us at “CELEBRATE! 20 Years in the Making” Visual Art Exhibition and at RCAC’s fundraiser dance with Devils You Don’t.

“CELEBRATE! 20 Years in the Making” Opening Reception

  • October 12, 2018 7pm to 9pm
  • Lily May Room, Miners’ Hall, Rossland
  • Free Event

As an opening for our visual art exhibition, RCAC is hosting an opening reception to thank the community and RCAC’s members, volunteers, and partners, past and present, who have made RCAC the organization that is today. Without the involvement of the community over the last 20 years, we would not be able to support artists in the area or run our programs.

Everyone is invited to join us on October 12 between 7:00pm and 9:00pm in the Lily May Room at Miners’ Hall to enjoy some treats, wine, and art at the opening for this exhibition. Whether for a minute or an hour we would be honoured if you came by so we can show you a bit of our appreciation.

“CELEBRATE! 20 Years in the Making” A Juried Visual Art Exhibition

  • October 13   1pm to 5pm

Explore the visual art of local and West Kootenay artists at Miners’ Union Hall October 12-14. Entry is free and open to all ages. “CELEBRATE! 20 Years in the Making” is both about what the art council has accomplished over the last 20 years and a metaphor for the time and experience behind the creation of each piece of art work for our participating artists.
