Small Business Week Business after Business October 18th at Community Futures

Small Business Week is October 14th-20th. The Chamber will host a Small Business Week Business after Business at Community Futures Thursday October 18th 5pm-7pm,

Be sure to mark your calendar and bring along some co-workers or next door business neighbors.  We will feature beverages from Backroads Brewing, wine and appies.  This event is always fun as Community Futures will feature some of the communities recent start ups and I am sure you will be able to pigeon hole a few aspiring council members. Further details will follow next week.  See you October 18th at Community Futures on Vernon Street, just above the Post Office.

Chamber hosts Mayoral Forum with journalist Glenn Hicks Saturday October 13th at the Prestige.

The Nelson and District Chamber of Commerce is pleased to host a mayoral forum Saturday October 13th at  the Prestige Lakeside Resort.  A conversation  with mayoral hopefuls Deb Kozak, John Dooley and Bernie Brown moderated by journalist Glenn Hicks.

This format promises to be provocative and engaging covering a wide range of topics. Doors open at 6:30 pm. The forum is underway from 7:00 pm-8:30 pm
