With International Women’s Day approaching on Thursday March 8th, let’s celebrate all the women in our lives and show our appreciation for everything they do.
Women make up about 75% of the not-for-profit sector in Canada, with many in leadership positions. Research shows that we are about to experience a wave of retirements, making succession planning a key priority for many organizations. While we celebrate the contributions of women in the sector, let’s also make it priority to nurture and foster our young female leadership talent.
Maria Turnbull, Vantage Point’s Associate Executive Director, has written a blog reflecting on the leadership lessons she has learned from inspiring women throughout her not-for-profit career.
