In March, we invite you to the opening reception for She.We.They: The Women Show; join in the fun at Museum Mash; get your tickets for Lalin and Corazón concerts; browse the Shop; and/or attend a community event!

March Operating Hours
Touchstones will close at 3pm on Friday, March 16

The Shawn Lamb Archives will be open the following days: March 1, 2, 3, 8, 16 and 23. Normal hours resume on March 29.

Easter Weekend Operating Hours:
Good Friday, March 30: 12 to 4pm
Saturday, March 31: 10am to 5pm
Easter Sunday: 11am to 4pm


She. We. They: The Women Show
March 9 to May 27
Opening Reception: International Women’s Day, March 8, 7 -9pm

Touchstones, in partnership with the Nelson and District Women’s Centre, is pleased to feature a community-curated exhibition called She. We. They: The Women Show.

The intent of this historical and collaborative exhibition is to frame feminism from many perspectives, illustrate the past, celebrate community and acknowledge the cultural currents which continue to be addressed. This exhibition is both a celebration and a contribution to the important conversations taking place at present about She. We. They.

March 11, 11am – 3pm
Free family event! 

Our first performers for Museum Mash on March 11 are confirmed! Discover Circus will be doing aerial silks and acro yoga in Gallery A, set against the background of She. We. They: The Women Show. The Amazing Nathan will be doing a magic show, and the sweet sounds of Brian Kalbfleisch will be echoing in the halls, while craft and other activities will be taking place in the galleries and the archives.
