If you`ve been on social media lately, you may have noticed that video is taking over. Which is why DIY Videos for for Small Business (January 23 & 30) comes at the perfect time. This two-day workshop is geared towards small business operators interested in using video to market or demonstrate their business or product on the web. Instructor, Zeb Hansell will aid you in planning, shooting and editing video so that your business can be a part of this growing trend. Deadline to register: January 17.

Have you ever felt like you have to do everything on your own and that you can`t trust your staff to get stuff done when you`re not around? In our workshop, Managing Effectively for High Staff Retention, instructor Charlotte Ferreux will help you understand the processes that allow you to manage for best results. Learn the difference between being a leader versus being a manager. Registration deadline: January 18.

We are excited to offer this free workshop Trans 101 – How to be an Ally to the Trans Community on February 1 (12:00 pm – 1:00 pm). Learn about the terminology, pronouns, gender assumptions, misconceptions, and how to be an ally to the trans community. There will be lots of time for questions and dialogue about Trans and Non-binary awareness in your business or workplace. Please note, this session is free, but preregistration is required.
