Monthly MAC Meeting
Friday, August 4th 4-6pm Whitevalley Community Centre (2250 Shields Ave. Lumby, BC).  As always, everyone is welcome to attend to find out more about what we’ve got planned for the next few months.

We’d Love To Hear From You!
We’ve developed a new survey with the assistance of Lorelei Fiset of Pinnacles Communications to find out how the arts council can best serve our wonderful community.  Please take a few minutes to complete this short questionnaire before the deadline of August 15, 2017.  We really appreciate your feedback!

The Lumby Arts & Music Festival – August 11-13th
Only a few weeks away until the launch of this new festival! The Monashee Arts Council is pleased to be providing the funding for the live band performance at the Wild & Crazy Family Dance on Friday, Aug.11th.  Come hear the great music of Blackberry Wood!  Tickets to the dance are available at Take Two and the private liquor store in Lumby or online at:

The North Okanagan OM Festival-August 25-27th
Also premiering this summer is the North Okanagan OM Festival in Cherryville!
OM- Organic Music, Organic Modalities, Organic Methods, Organic Meals, and Organic Merriment!

Butter Tart Festival-Coming Soon!
The 3rd annual Butter Tart Festival will be happening in Lumby on Saturday, September 9th 9am-1pm

in the Whitevalley Community Park (1815 Glencaird Street, Lumby, BC)  Watch for more info about this always delicious & popular event in the LVT, online, and in our next newsletter!

Meet the Artist-Okanagan Regional Library (Lumby Branch)
September will showcase the work of Monashee Arts Council director, Bernadette Kroft.  The art show will run the entire month of September in the library so make sure you stop by to see Bernadette’s incredibly captivating creations!
