SWING DANCE IN WINNIPEG

How can an art form from the 1920s Harlem Renaissance help bring a community together? Nathan Lee and his team from Saturday Swing Out will be inspiring folks to get their dancing shoes on and come down to Ted Motyka Dance Studio in Winnipeg during this year’s Culture Days. Read all about it here in the first of five articles about the winners of the Spring Registration Promotion. SUMMER 2017 CONTEST RULES

*NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Subject to Official Rules at www.culturedays.ca. Open to legal resident of Canada (excluding the Provinces of Quebec); (b) located in Canada (excluding the Provinces of Quebec); (c) of the age of majority in his/her province or territory of residence. Contest Closes at 11:59:59 PM (EST) on August 10, 2017. Total of 151 Prizes are available to be won. One Grand Prize available to be won, consisting of using Culture Days existing national Geo targeted digital advertisement creative, ie, the Sponsor will add a tag line to its national campaign which will consists of a call out such as: “Check out the activity XYZ in “province of or region of”. For example “Check out the Culture Days activity Bookbinding Demonstration at the London Public Library in London, ON”.  The ad will be available between Sept. 5, 2017 and Oct. 1, 2017. The Sponsor will be responsible for purchasing the advertisement. The approximate retail value is $500.00 CDN. A total of 150 Secondary Prizes are available to be won and will be awarded as follows: 15 Prizes will be awarded amongst registered activities in the Province of AB; 30 Prizes amongst registered activities in the Province of BC; 18 Prizes amongst registered activities in the Province of MB; 15 Prizes amongst registered activities in the Province of SK; 60 Prizes amongst registered activities in the Province of ON; 9 Prizes amongst the combined registered activities in the Provinces of  NS; NB; PEI, NL and Labrador; and 3 Prizes amongst registered activities within the Territories. Approximate retail value of each Secondary Prize is $19.99 CDN. Random draws: August 21, 2017. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received per defined region. Correct answer to a mathematical skill-testing question required.
